About the Kingborough Chronicle

The Kingborough Chronicle is printed every Tuesday with a weekly circulation of 12,100 covering the Kingborough and Channel communities, including Taroona, Kingston, Kingston Beach, Blackmans Bay, Margate, Snug, Kettering, Middleton, Woodbridge and Bruny Island.

7,000 copies are home delivered to Kingston, Blackmans Bay, Margate, and Taroona. The balance are distributed in pick up bins including Big W, Coles, Woolworths, Mitre 10, cafes, newsagents and general stores in the area.

Kingborough is a vibrant municipality that is amongst the fastest growing in Tasmania, with a population of over 34,000.

The Kingborough Chronicle weekly newspaper is here to reflect and record local community news, views, sport and politics. We welcome contributions from individuals and community groups. For consideration please contact us.

The Kingborough Chronicle is locally owned and operated by the Yeates family who re-established the Huon News in the early 1920s and continue to operate it today.
